While our team has garnered a wealth of experience across various industries and subjects through our projects, we do not claim to be subject matter experts (SMEs) in those areas. Instead, we collaborate closely with SMEs to ensure the content’s accuracy and relevance while applying our expertise in instructional design.

Our team employs a range of instructional design methodologies based on the specific needs and goals of the project. Predominantly, we use the ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) model for a structured approach. We also incorporate principles from Bloom’s Taxonomy, Gagne’s Nine Events of Instruction, and Merrill’s Principles of Instruction. We also draw from adult learning theories to ensure an effective and engaging learning experience.

While we typically assign designers based on project needs and their expertise, we understand that you might have specific requirements or preferences. If there’s a particular designer or team member you wish to collaborate with, let us know, and we’ll make every effort to accommodate your request.

Collaboration between our instructional designers is integral to a project’s success. We set timelines, allocate resources, and liaise with clients. We ensure that the course development aligns with client objectives and is on track with milestones. Regular check-ins, status updates, and collaborative sessions are standard to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the project’s lifespan.

Yes, we have a dedicated team of in-house multimedia and graphic designers who specialise in creating engaging visuals for eLearning and face-to-face courses. They work closely with our instructional designers to ensure that the graphics and other multimedia elements enhance the learning experience and align with the course’s instructional goals. We also work with WeMOV, a video production company who create a broad range of videos – from training ‘how-to’ videos to animations – to cater for various needs. They never cease to amaze our clients with their ability to creatively bring their vision to life! Whether it’s infographics, interactive animations, or custom illustrations, our design team ensures that course visuals are both appealing and pedagogically effective.

Open communication and collaboration are essential to our process. We typically have scheduled checkpoints with clients to gather feedback at various stages of the project. All feedback is thoroughly reviewed and discussed with the client to ensure clarity. Our team then incorporates the revisions, ensuring that the final product aligns with the client’s vision and objectives. We always aim to strike a balance between client feedback and instructional design best practices to deliver an effective learning solution.

Absolutely! Our designers have extensive experience with a variety of Learning Management Systems, including but not limited to Talent LMS, Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, and TalentLMS. Their familiarity with the features and functionalities of these platforms ensures that the courses we design are not only instructionally sound but also technically compatible and optimised for the client’s chosen LMS.

When designing courses, we emphasise diverse representation, avoid cultural stereotypes, and ensure content is universally relatable. We also encourage client input and sometimes collaborate with cultural consultants to ensure the content resonates authentically with diverse audiences. Our ultimate goal is to create courses that are welcoming, respectful, and engaging for all learners.
