Case Study: Graduate Program - ‘Experience Your Future’
A Graduate Program review identified opportunities to both enhance the end-to-end learner experience, and sharpen the focus on development of leadership capabilities during the last 6 months of the program.
The key aim was to help build a leadership pipeline of high potential contributors.
To achieve this, IDA and DLD:
- Leveraged and redesigned existing content, learning and delivery methodologies
- Aligned program with future recruitment definition around ‘potential’
- Nested learning components with organisational technical capabilities and leadership attributes
- Incorporated both internal and external learning experiences, based upon ‘Master class’ workshops that fostered a ‘leadership mindset’ and ‘X-factor attributes’
Creation of a highly engaging, memorable and immersive Graduate program, centred on future-focussed key organisational ‘themes’. A critical outcome was the engagement with managers in supporting guided embedding activities on the job, and connecting graduates across different business areas.
